Bypassing Subiaco on the east west PSP

Postby mjbmikeb2 » Mon May 17, 2021 5:06 pm

Does anyone have an alternative route that bypasses the pedestrianised center of Subiaco and avoids crossing busy roads but links to the PSP at either end?

This is the Strava heatmap and it doesn't look like there is a universal way of bypassing it

Do you need to get back on the PSP at either end? If so, I tend to go through the traino/shops car park on to Station Street, if you dont mind a bit of pave. Its still slower due to cars reversing a bit there, and you need to go slow on the paths just before you rejoin the PSP as you go under Hayden Bunton. Otherwise you can pop over to Salvado on the way West just as you emerge under Hayden Bunton.
