Whilst NeoPro cancelled my oprder and refunded the money when asked without issue, it was realising after the order that in fact the items weren't in stock that made me nervous.

We've seen more and more retailers/sellers go to the wall (Bowman a recent one) that fail due to some issues outside of their control, and this has made me nervous about ordering stuff that isn't in stock or experiences massive delays in supplying.

It must be really challenging for suppliers across the board these days and I feel for them.
I'm very cautious on ordering online now with this, I specifically check if things are in stock (if possible) and/or deal with retailers I know and trust. For cycling kit, that is Le Col who are very reliable and have excellent customer service - especially with working on the sizing. If they say something is in stock, it is as far as my experiences go. You pay more with them (unless you get the discounts), but the kit is well made and comfortable to wear.

Otherwise I'll try to buy stuff directly from stores if and when possible because I know I'll have it right away and won't be wondering if the delivery is lost, parked at a depot or something like that.

A hunjy today in the Neopro knicks and jersey.
Very hapy for the price. Good fit and comfort.
I have a comfy saddle and bike fit though, so not super fussy with respect to bibs and chamois.
Certainly work better for me than some Castelli I have.
Will buy again and medium is a great fit :)

Finally got the shipped notification for my order. Looks like it will get delivered next week, so I should get a few opportunities to wear it before it gets too cold.

NeoPro kit finally arrived today - yay!

I did a quick fit and it is bang on. I ordered a Large for both Knicks and Jersey and they are true to size, and that was my largest concern.

The chamois is what I would expect for a $90 pair of knicks. It does not even come close to the quality of what I have in my vastly more pricey knicks, but it will be more than suitable for rides under 3 hours long I'd say. The knicks are very comfortable on first impressions, with the leg grippers hugging nicely with no sausage legs.

The jersey material is quite nice and the designs I picked are fairly benign (I went Jungle Green and Unicorn). For under $220 I got two jerseys and two pairs of knicks.

Yeah they are fine for 3 or 4 hrs for me. I don't often do longer than that but still could in them.
I gave them a positive review.

At this stage I am not willing to test them on a 13 hour ride. The typical 200km ride for me is anywhere from 6 to 10 hours which I suspect will be pushing the boundaries on these knicks. I’ll start out using them on my shorter rides and see how I go.

13 hrs would be pushing it for sure.
I have done that but I didn't enjoy it.

Bit of a mixup with my order in the end - apparently one of the jerseys was oversold, so they were unable to deliver that one.

The funny thing was they e-mailed and offered to substitute the same style in a Large. Given the small is a bit on the big side on me, no that won't be a great option. I don't need a tent.

The Audax 400km rides are the worst, as they typically last for 18+ hours once you factor in stops for food and water, and you don't have the opportunity for a sleep because the time limit is 26hrs40min. Well, technically you could sleep if you were fast enough, but if you are fast enough to have time for a sleep, then you would finish well within the time limit anyway and not need the sleep. The last 400km I did as one massive loop, I rolled into the finish at 1:30am and was first rider back with about a 2 hour lead.

I am happy enough with mine.
Size M Neopro and size M Society cycling has me sorted for the future.
Very happy with the fit on both of those and that is half of the battle.

Good enough for my use, if I don't need to pay excessive $$ for what are a pair of (specialised) shorts, then I prefer not to.

Finally received my kit on the 15th of March, one month after it left the backorder shipment, and 3 months after the initial order. Had to put in an online query to get it moving from the local depot where it seemed stuck.

Will give it a ride Saturday morning. The bib padding does seem on the thin and basic side.
I'm skeletally thin, the jersey fits pretty well overall, a bit baggy around the middle as I'm very scrawny so may need to get that tailored a bit which is normal for me. I make lycra look loose

I did 80km and found them okay. The chamois seems to be more "rearward adjacent" and less front-ward than other bibs I own, but even when down low in the drops with a flattish back, there was sufficient padding for me.

So initial impressions were good. Not like a plush comfy cushion, but not like riding on sandpaper either. Largely ignorable and didn't need constant micro-adjustments, which is what you want I suppose.

Might be doing 100km hill ride this weekend.....might stick with old faithful bibs just in case.

The jersey fitted me well mostly, I am very scrawny so it's a bit flappy around the waist but that's normal for me. I found the sleeves more mid-bicep than down to the elbow which is a bit disappointing. And it's also very meshy, as in, hello nipples, and you can clearly read the "Wahoo" printed on the front of my heart rate monitor through the fabric! Pretty comfy though, good pocket sizes and I like fluoro colours.

Will never buy these again. Wanted to try a locally made set of Bibs. First pair delivery was good. The stitching around the chamois lasted 2 rides, all up, around 200kms. Contacted Neopro, communication was ordinary but, they were happy to exchange. Waited, waited, waited for a month after returning the faulty bibs. Finally got in contact with Neopro again, (after multiple attempts )and, the original Onyx colour order was being "sourced" from our distribution center , I was told. I replied to that email stating the Navy colour would be ok to change to, and, bang, my replacement Bibs arrived within the week. But, 2 rides in again, around the same kms, the stitching around the chamois came away.
I did not bother contacting Neopro again.

I have 2 pair in a size M.
Not huge ks in them yet, but more than 2 rides.
No stitching probs.
The chamois isn't super plush but it was ok for 4 hours on the gravelly yesty.

I think they're actually made in China. The business is run from Australia.

Nor mine yet but only done half a dozen rides with them so far.

That's what I noticed with the first ride also.

Will try the same again today with some fellow cheapies in size M from society cycling.
They have a thicker chamois which may be better. Have flat shoulder straps rather than stitched goers like the neopro. Less a fan of the flat straps, they just seem less durable.

I don't understand why all the brands don't have straps that are at least 75mm wide, that size sits much better over the shoulders. :?

Any strap works for me.
7.5cm is bloody wide. :?
The society ones are a bit wider than average (5cm).
4.5 hours in em today. Yeah the chamois is a bit better for my butt.
