There's a long cold and dark winter to go yet.
Not looking forward to that either.

No plastic rides for me ! Hopefully the new ICAN build with the proper mudguards will help with that

Aiming for a last ride tonight to add a smidge to the Feb total. Still on track for under 10k km

Better riding weather for February here in SE Qld so continued to keep ahead of schedule.

Still riding largely solo with most rides finished by 7:00 in time for shared breakfasts with my lady. Managed 738km and 4104 metres elevation, bringing YTD totals to 1521km and 9135 metres respectively so happy with that.

All outdoor rides for me also

At the beginning of Covid I decided to try trainer rides and bought a wheel on TACX smart trainer second hand but virtually new.
Tried it using bundled trial rides ..... selected an "easy ride" which turned out to be somewhere around the coast of Cornwall UK. Straight up there was a climb of about 6km @5% ..... easy!!!!
Sweated like a pig .... all over the bike and was totally buggered after 20km or so .... think my wife thought I was going to die. Tried it again a few days later just to be sure and it has sat in the shed collecting dust ever since never to be used by me again.

Its proper outdoor rides for me or nothing.

Decent February, new bike so hopefully getting faster.

Feb:
794KMs
Year so far:
1,293KMs

As per usual just about all of this is commuting, so the only reason it will be interrupted is that I'm planning to go away in September.

Finished Feb with a total of 669km and 5,891m of elevation gain.

Some house stuff and weather (rain and heatwave) curtailed the km count a bit, but still got the century in for the month, so that's one goal that I've achieved 3 months in a row now - WOOT !!!

So far this year its now up to 1,459km and 14,919m of elevation gain.

Started this month of with a nice 47km and 460m before work :)

Jealous of all the kms in this thread. I’ve been away so much the riding has been few and far between. The new bike is also causing knee pain when I do get a ride in. More travel in March and late April/May. Should get some kms in again one Winter hits

290km in Feb and 562km YTD putting me ahead of last year but behind on target.

About half has been indoors on Zwift which has mostly been workouts or climbing. They have been short and intense which hasn't helped with the milage but I'm getting fitter and faster.

Have decided to drop my target from 5000 to 4000kms, which will still smash my previous best of 3196 last year. Thought I'd be realistic, given in summer most of my rides are just commutes because weekends are busy with other stuff. I actually do more weekend rides in winter for that reason.

Currently at 679kms for the year, which is only 44kms behind my target pace

March has been a slow month due to a focus on getting the builder selected for the house build and over the line.

However, managed to tick of the monthly century for March, so that's at least one good thing for the month. 4 months in a row now, so happy with that. Only 240km and 2,030m elevation though so far ....

Less time on the bike for me also. A quiet, no riding final week of March has brought the monthly total down to 651km.
The season changed dramatically. Around 50mm of rain and strong South/Westerly winds kept me indoors for a week. I also have a new drum kit to help keep me occupied.

Still on track for the annual 8400km.
Sitting on 2708km currently.

Lost a week with a nasty non-covid virus so only did 263kms in March. That puts me at 866 for the year, which is 131 behind pace of my 4000km target for the year. Should be able to pick that up in April.

March had similar riding weather to February here in SE Qld so continued to keep ahead of schedule.

Still riding largely solo with most rides. More K's on Defy Blue this month.
Managed 768km and 4762 metres elevation, bringing YTD totals to 2,288 km and 13,897 metres respectively so happy with that.

Haven't quite hit 1000km for the year. Will bring up that milestone this week.

It's noticeably cooler a month into autumn.
I really should take up cycling!

March was going so well . . . then I had a problem with one of my teeth, a week off work, so no commuting, and basically a week of pain until the tooth could be removed.

Alas, only 598KMs for March and a bit behind my yearly goal at the moment, and I will be away for the whole of September so I need to make a lot up before September.

Recovering from the tooth removal meant taking the tram to work a couple of days last week, it has been years since I have had a day when I didn't ride to work, at least I got through a fair bit of the book I'm reading.

Plus, I now need to get a couple of teeth replaced.

Such is life, should be fine to ride on Monday.

Seems to have been a slower month for many. For me it was a combo of weather and signing up a builder and getting stuff sorted.
Total of 410km and 3,481m of elevation gain for the month, but a light 31km yesterday and about to head off on a 50+km ride today. Beautiful weather :P

Broke a toe which meant feet up and doing nothing for three weeks. Have changed to flat pedals on the bike and started doing slow short rides on Zwift in an effort to retain some fitness and slow the speed I'm falling behind target.

Still targeting 4,000km for the year but currently at 720km.

Having a much better April than March. Only 35km off the March month total (376km so far), so starting to head in the right direction.

Had a soggy Saturday ride in Mintaro

Did another ride Sunday morning and weather was just a bit better !!!!

A fairly quiet month on the bike again. A few distractions, responsibilities, work and cruddy weather to blame.
Well on target for 8400km by year's end.
I still enjoyed some good riding with cold mornings but nice calm conditions.

YTD - 3258km

Me for April - daughter was in hospital for a week after emergengy surgery, and wife has been overseas for the past fortnight so I'm managing the house and kids. Managed to get one ride in on a day off that wasn't a commute, but also managed to get to the gym a few times when it rained, so on balance not too bad - 245km for April puts me 203km behind the pace for my 4000km target for the year.
