Cheap bike shorts
Postby mikesbytes » Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:58 pm
- They are tight, next time I'll buy one size too big.
- The logos are a slightly see thru, in part because the pair I have is a tad tight.

Target has one that the sticker says 60 $ but if you do a price check it's $ 21 or so.. I got one last week at Target in Bourke st(Melbourne CBD)
I find that jogging tights work well for cycling.. nice if it is a bit chilly like in the winter or in the spring..

Didn't have a good look 'cos lycra's not my bag baby
They had black and white jerseys too, magpie confusion perhaps?

Just bought 3 pairs (one for meself and two for guys at work), some Carb Boom, two sets of MTB tyres, a Echowell HRM and a Union computer (both for the guys at work), and two Super B Cleaning kits (also for the guys at work).
All up, $291.
Can you help explain that to my missus please?
Kev.

Got the knicks today. Wore them on my ride over to Freo. Quite good indeed. They seem to have thicker padding than my other more expensive knicks. Thanks for the heads-up Mike.
I also got a NZO Air Mesh MTB jersey while I was at it. Good fit and boy beats wearing a t-shirt. Good value I think given I only paid $26.00 for it.

Spewing . Anyway, i got to work this morning to find my jersey, it is really quite comfortable. I like it, normally i wear an XL but the Large is perfect.
In future i'll wait and see what happens with that darned T7 site.
Mitch.
Until next time...

I quite like the look of these tops, and you certainly cannot beat the price.mikesbytes wrote:Ah! those cycling tops are now on special too

Does anyone know if they are any good?
However, as I have just bought a pair of the T7 shorts I am not sure if I want to look like a complete T7 advertising hoarding....
Still, I suppose I could mix and match, but that would require some planning when laying out my riding gear.

I use torpedo7 socks ...and yes they have good deals on other things but I wouldn't buy their marked shirts for the reason that my LBS looks after me very very well and I race with a lot of their staff so would maybee p them off turning up with torpedo stuff n my backuMP2k wrote:I quite like the look of these tops, and you certainly cannot beat the price.mikesbytes wrote:Ah! those cycling tops are now on special too

I have both. Happy with my figure to wear the looser top but the shy shorts are not (for me at least) as comfortable as my knicks and are already getting to be on the warm side.Blybo wrote:I came from mountain bike riding so also have looser style tops and shyshorts, both of which were worn on the roadie yesterday
