The entire server was down and I spoke to the host who then travelled directly into to the server centre on Sunday morning to resolve / restore.
It affected the system (not just this site) and services today have been and made continue to be a little unstable as the server update / syncronise themselves.
I have done repair and analysis of the forum database which should solve some of the issues.
We will be trying to take a closer look and are already planning measures to prevent this. Thanks for your emails and questions on this.
