Sorry, I mis-typed in my previous post. You need to use the img tag rather than the url tag. So it should be:noeyedeer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 2:17 pmAnyone interested in this old Super Elliott. I don’t know how old it is. 70’s or 80’s at a guess.

When I put this same URL into img][/img it doesn't work (outside [] removed to show code).

Not quite - you've copied the URL. Flicker makes it easy for you, but you need to follow a few steps - on the bottom right of the url, you will see a share button. Select "BBCode", copy that code and you get

Bonus kudos to anyone who can find another Diamant example with these decals.
80s? CX race bike. No bottle bosses for speeeeed. 124mm rear but could be anything. Remnant 531 decals. Zeus fork crown, Prugnat? lugs. Campag rear dropouts. 10.7kg as is. Mafac Criterium Super Deluxe cantis, Modolo Sporting levers and Ofmega CX specific-cranks, ring and guards look original.

This one has a few similarities to yours, but is probably a bit earlier: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vint ... heavy.html

Looks great - I'm amazed that fluted seat post came out!
No chainstay bridge as was the fashion at the time. (Said in best Grandpa Simpson voice.)
Looks very deliberate sans shifter bosses and bottle mounts. The cable housing stops must have been fairly cutting edge at the time...I would have thought.

VX RD and bar end, chain and chainring are getting to the end of their useful life. I do have a set of 10x2 SRAM TT shifters that I might adapt to friction bar ends for a 2 x whatever setup. But that's for a little while from now.
