Took a pic after the new saddle (Specialized Romin Pro) and giving the bike a good clean up and service (drive train was a bit noisy).
The saddle looks pretty unforgiving at first glance, but it's amazing how comfortable it is. Absolutely brilliant.
I wouldn't mind finding a different stem to get the bars a little bit lower - otherwise this bike goes very well, fun to ride.

As for the Lamborghini reference, I think the Huracan is available in something very close to that scorching colour of your bike. Pretty eye catching.

9.905kg including a bottle cage and 415g worth of my old Shimano MTB pedals. The Fly6 and Fly12 went on after I weighed it:

That's a very different, and very nice colour scheme from Giant!Mububban wrote:Couldn't wait and collected my Contend SL1 Disc today. Took it for a quick spin around the block and after years riding the MTB and knowing what that bike and my legs feel like as the local roads rise and fall, this was a totally different experience. I'm in love already.

Needs more orange I was eyeing off some orange bar tape even before I'd wheeled it out of the shop. It might have been a bit much though....but one day....g-boaf wrote: That's a very different, and very nice colour scheme from Giant!

Lizardskins bar tape should be available in orange. I've got some green bar tape for mine, but I'm not changing it until the current black tape wears out,and at my rate, that's not going to be soon. I used to be clocking 350-400km/week consistent. Not now.Mububban wrote:Needs more orange I was eyeing off some orange bar tape even before I'd wheeled it out of the shop. Supacaz has a neon orange which goes pretty well with the orange used on the Giants. Here's my Propel Adv Pro 1 with the Supacaz bar tape.g-boaf wrote:Lizardskins bar tape should be available in orange. Should always happen for the first set of tape, by the second tape on a bike you are over the new bike feels and just want black. My green, blue, pink, red and purple tapes were all part of me confirming this rule...Mububban wrote:Yeah, it's gonna happen whenever the current tape needs replacing
