Very minor difference it seems, have Giant released any data comparing their current frame to the previous and also competitor's frames?

They did have some stuff at the launch, but whether or not it's been released to the wild I haven't seen yet.

Disappointing to see no mech DA TCR SL versions, not sure what get next.
Will be interesting to see what Canyon can do in a top tier frame with mech
DA pricewise.

Giant were probably in a sticky situation for the TCR SL.
SL0 - DA Di2 - A must for those who want the best of the best. What the pros ride.
SL1 - Ultegra Di2 - For the 'practical' user who realises the only practical difference between DA Di2 and Ultegra Di2 is the weight. The price is much sharper than the SL0 ($2000 saving). Same wheelsets for both bikes.
SL2 - Ultegra mech - Limited edition bike for those on a budget.

Giant at most have 3 models of the same frame, seems like they're pushing Di2 to the masses! I'm not complaining!

Basically it's been a spec reversal between the Advanced SL 1 & Advanced Pro 0. Maybe Giant were finding a preference for electronic on the top frame & mechanical on the second-tier frame. Or perhaps there were customers who wanted a Dura-Ace spec on the Advanced frame. Dunno.

I believe TCR Advanced SL models have been delayed till October, can anyone confirm this is the case around Aus?

The SL2 was always slated for October due to being a limited run allotted wholly on dealer pre-orders. Others in the Series I'm not aware of the delivery times for.

I saw an SL2 at a dealer tonight.
I don't think I would buy a bike without Di2 again.

I used to say the same thing owning a 2013 Defy Advanced 0 Di2 Ultegra........have put 600+km on my new 2016 TCR Advanced Pro 0 with the Dura Ace Mechanical....I have to say I am not missing the Di2 at all. It is certainly not worth the extra $2000+ IMHO.
